Fans of Netflix drama The Society were left weeping out for more following that fascinating season finale of season one which finally settled what had happened to the teenagers of West Ham.
As they were captured in an alternate reality that felt and looked exactly like their home town, everything was not the same. Their parents, younger siblings and everyone else they knew of were in another existence or reality, the “correct” one, as it were.
Although, while one part of the mystery has been solved, another big question has risen up that needs answering: will the town’s youngsters together ever be able to manage their fid way home, or will they be trapped there forever?
The Society season 2 release date and when will it air on Netflix
The Society production for season two kicked off in 2019, with new episodes pretty much expected to air in 2020.
Season one of The Society was released on last May, but it remains to be seen whether the upcoming forecast will follow the same procedure. Even the trailers usually land in the month close up to the premiere
The Society season 2 cast and who is coming back?
Most of the key players were pretty much alive when the first chapter finished up, which means we would see the following stars to all make a return: Kelly (Kristine Froseth), Allie (Kathryn Newton), Will (Jacques Colimon), Becca (Gideon Adlon), Bean (Salena Qureshi), Sam (Sean Berdy), Jason (Emilio Garcia-Sanchez), Gwen (Olivia Nikkanen) Harry (Alex Fitzalan), Campbell (Toby Wallace), Helena (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Elle (Olivia DeJonge), Luke (Alex MacNicoll), Grizz (Jack Mulhern), Gordie (José Julián), Clark (Spencer House), and Lexie (Grace Victoria Cox).
We would also be expecting Chaske Spencer to feature once again as Mr Pfeiffer, who was one of the bus drivers who drove the kids off for their school trip, and he was seen arguing with Harry’s mum Karen (Anastasia Barzee) and both Sam and Campbell’s dad, Doug (Paul Anthony Stewart) in season one, at the initial stage of the show.
Two people who won’t be returning are Cassandra (Rachel Keller), Allie’s older sister after she was shot dead, and Dewey (Seth Meriwether), who was killed or executed by shooting after he was found guilty of murdering Cassandra.
