One of the great entertainment shows, Virgin River was a great hit on Netflix. The show was aired on Netflix in December 2019. Here’s a piece of good news for all the fans out there. Virgin River is coming back for a season 2. It has been officially announced by Netflix that the show has been renewed for a second ten-episode romantic drama based on the Harlequin book series by Robyn Carr.

RELEASE DATE OF THE SHOW:

Any official release date has not been announced by Netflix yet. But as per the sources and predictions made by the fans, we can expect the show to be back in the late months of 2020. Fans are waiting for the show. A user tweeted on Twitter, “Had fun this weekend with a new Netflix series, “Virgin River”, based on books by Robyn Carr. Endearing characters, and captivating plots. I can’t wait for season 2!” At this point of time, no trailer has been released for the second part of the show.

PLOT OF THE SHOW:

The plot of the show revolves around the story of Melinda “Mel” Monroe who places herself in a remote village in California called the Virgin River. According to her, she believes that the small time might be the perfect place to start her life in a new way again. But soon she realizes that it is not always easy to leave your past and pain behind.

EXPECTED STAR CAST OF SEASON 2:

The official star cast list has not been released yet, but we can expect Alexandra Breckenridge as Melinda “Mel” Monroe, Martin Henderson as Jack Sheridan, Colin Lawrence as John “Preacher” Middleton, Jenny Cooper as Joey Barnes, Lauren Hammersley as Charmaine Roberts, Annette O’Toole as Hope McCrea and Tim Matheson as Vernon “Doc” Mullins to be in the show this time.
