“Classroom of the Elite Season 2”: Life takes a turn when “Kiyotaka” befriends his two classmates!

Classroom of the Elite is a Japanese light novel series which was later adapted into a manga and then an anime series. The psychological thriller novel was written by Shogo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomos. It was published on May 25, 2015, in Media Factory and Seven Seas Entertainment in English.

The anime premiered its first season of twelve episodes on July 12, 2017. Licensed by Funimation, it has also been released in Animax Asia in English dub. The anime is written by Aoi Akashiro and directed by Seiji Kishi and Hiroyuki Hashimoto.

Renewal Status of Classroom of the Elite Season 2:

No announcement about the renewal or confirmation of a second season has been made till now. Therefore, expecting a release date now is more vague and uncertain. Basing on the facts and figures about the success of the first season, renewal for a second is highly desirable. But not knowing about the technicalities, we should not be sure.

Lerche Studios, the producers, and the streaming networks are silent about the renewal, but that does not indicate that it won’t happen. We need to wait patiently for the announcements regarding it.

The Plot of Classroom of the Elite Season 2:

As the name suggests, there is a classroom or an entire school to be correct, just dedicated to the upcoming generation to handle the future of Japan. Therefore, the school set up by the Japanese government called Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School fosters and instructs its students to be the elite generation of Japan. The series focusses on a boy belonging to D-class named Kiyotaka Ayanokoji. He is a shy and introverted kid. But his life takes a turn when he befriends his two classmates, Suzune Horikita and Kikyo Kushida.
