“Glow Season 4”: we can expect the gang uniting for “Debbie’s new wrestling show”!

Glow, the Netflix original comedy-drama web show, which premiered with its first season back in August 2017, is back with its fourth and final season. The web television show, created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, followed the fictionalization of the characters of the 1980s women’s professional wrestling circuit known as the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (or GLOW) founded by David McLane. The series revolved around the professional and personal lives of the fiction shows characters as they weaved their way through the 1980s Southern Nevada and Southern California.

On 20th September 2019, Netflix renewed the series for a fourth and final season. It was reported that production started around February, as star cast, Allison Brie shared a shot of a wrestling ring on her Instagram. But all the bets are off now, as with everything shut down, the shooting has come to a halt. Before the pandemic, it was assumed by the fans of the show that it would likely premier around august 2020, the same time season 3 aired last year. At the moment, there is no confirmation when the viewers can expect the final season.

Most of the cast from season 3 is likely to return for season 4. But, according to official announcements, the confirmed cast includes Alison Brie as Ruth Wilder, Betty Gilpin as Debbie Eagan, Sydelle Noel as Cherry Bang, Kate Nash as Rhonda Richardson, Marc Maron as Sam Sylvia, Britt Baron as Justin Biagi, Gayle Rankin as Sheila and Kia Stevens as Tamme.

The previous seasons followed the professional and personal lives of the fiction shows characters, but in season 3, the group broke up and went different ways, leaving the show in a show on a cliffhanger. Sam had started making films with his daughter, and Ruth had rejected close friend Debbie’s offer of a directing job to pursue acting.

For season 4, we can expect the gang uniting for Debbie’s new wrestling show. The wrestlers might take on new personas for GLOW’S TV reboot. Well, we can’t wait to find out.

No trailer has yet been released the streaming platform, but a brief teaser has been released to calm the restless souls of fanatics of the show.
