Check out below to know all the important details about season six!
We witnessed the disposal of the traditional ‘tent studio’ in the fourth season. The introduction of a live audience was greatly received by the critics and the fans both. So, we can expect to see some massive changes in the upcoming season too.
The last season was primarily focused on many Asian countries including Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore. Plus, we know how much the creators love controversies. How can we forget Clarkson’s Burma controversy? In conclusion, we can safely say that the upcoming entry will definitely not take place in any Asian territory. Although, we don’t know any information regarding the shooting locations for season five.
Jeremy Clarkson will definitely return along with Richard Hammond. He recently stated in an interview with RadioTimes.com:
“I never run out of ideas. Someone asked me, before this series, ‘What can you possibly do with a car that you haven’t already done?’ But my head’s filled with enough ideas for five years,” he said.
But James May’s appearance in the fifth season is still covered in the clouds of doubtfulness. He told The Sun:
“How do I feel about ageing? Bad,” he said. “I’m in the second half of my fifties now, and in all honesty, I’m slightly falling apart.
“I’m developing nervous disorders and aches, and I don’t think I’ll do this much longer because I don’t want to fall apart in public.”
Many hearts will be broken after the departure of James May from the show but we think it’s for the best considering his health conditions.
No official release date has been unearthed by Amazon. But it is expected to air in late 2020 or in early 2021. Stay tuned for more updates.
