“Hero Academia Season 5” confirmed: The season will have 25 episodes with two stories in the arc!

The wildly liked anime “My Hero Academia” is currently airing its fourth season. It is based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi. The anime is directed by Kenji Nagasaki. Moreover, the manga happens to be very popular. It has received the prestigious ‘Harvey Award’ in 2019 for the best manga.

The story follows a boy, Izuku Midoriya, who loves superhero powers but unfortunately doesn’t possess any powers. He gets enrolled in a famous superhero academy, U.A, to learn how to be a hero. But, he soon discovers it is pretty difficult to be a hero. As the current season is nearing its end, fans are excited about the next season. Moreover, new chapters of the manga are coming as well. Release Date of My Hero Academia Season 5

The first season aired way back in 2016. Season 2 of the anime premiered in 2017, while Season 3 and 4 released in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Observing the pattern, My Hero Academia Season should be released in around October 2020. However, due to the courtesy of coronavirus, it might get postponed.

But we came with good news as in the 19th edition of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine; Season 5 is officially announced. Due to the delay, we might get the upcoming season of Boku no Hero Academia in July 2021. Even the twitter account also gave the confirmation for Season 5.

The characters which will be coming back in Season 5 are :

Moreover, we will be witnessing more of  Shoto Todoroki, Minoru Mineta, Shinya Kamihara, Rumi Usagiyama, Shinji Nishiya, and Ryuko Tatsuma

In addition, the most powerful student of 1-C, Hitoshi Shinso, also known as the silent one, will get a major role.

The plot of My Hero Academia Season 5

Like all the past seasons, My Hero Academia Season 5 will also have 25 episodes. Similarly, we will be witnessing two major story arcs in Season 5 as well. Our best guess is that the two arcs to be animated in Season 5 are: Pro Hero Arc and Joint Training Arc.

In the Pro hero arc, all the heroes will be fighting to get the top spot to be the symbol of peace. We will witness some never-seen-before amazing heroes. As Endeavor is currently holding the top position, other heroes will struggle and grow to get to the peak. In the Joint training arc, we will witness the joint training sessions of students of 1-B and 1-A. We will get to know how these young heroes have improved over a period of time.

Season 5 of My Hero Academia might even go further to Meta Liberation Army Arc, which includes “My Villian Academia.
