“La Casa Da Papel/ Money Heist Season 5”: Release Date and what to expect in the upcoming season!

After the huge success of the fourth part of La Casa De Papel, popularly known as Money Heist, it is expected to return with its 5th season. The Spanish crime drama series, was a hit among its viewers since it first premiered in 2017. It spans over two heists planned by the professor played by Álvaro Morte, on the Royal Mint of Spain, and the Bank of Spain.

The series is narrated in real-time like fashion, with a lot of flashbacks and time jumps. Money heist has received a lot of acclamation from the global audience and has received a few awards for its spectacular storyline. By 2018, the hit drama series broke records and became the most-watched non-English language series. Also, it holds the record for being the most-watched series on Netflix.

The cast of the show consists of actors like Úrsula Corberó, Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso, Paco Tous, Alba Flores, Miguel Herrán, and Jaime Lorente.

Money Heist Season 5: Release Date

Netflix has not yet officially renewed La Casa De Papel, for a fifth part. According to sources, and pieces put together by fans, point towards a season 5. Some acclaimed reports also suggest that the series is in its pre-production stage already.

Another major clue that fans can expect a season 5, is that the previous season had loose ends. Part 4 of the series was left on a cliff hanger. At least one more season would be required to put pieces together. Secondly, the writer, Alex Pina, and his team of directors have suggested previously that there are plans for a fifth season.

Although reports suggest that the show was already in its pre-production stage, the outbreak of coronavirus around the world can delay it further.

Expected Plot of Money Heist Season 5       

Previously in part 4, the last scene of the final episode, we saw the professor being caught red-handed with a gun and the series cut to the credits with the new rendition of Bella Ciao. Giving some major chills to the fans as to what was to come in the next part.

The heist is still on with the gang in the Bank of Spain, trying to melt the gold in balls. But for season 5, questions arise whether the gang will be let go off and whether they will be able to live normal lives, now that all their identities have been revealed.
