Is “Bosch Season 7” cancelled: Based on “Michael Connelly’s” bestselling books “City of Bones”!

Bosch was Amazon’s first original and now longest-running drama series. The seventh and final season of the series received its renewal ahead of time on February 13, 2020. Season 6 aired on Amazon Prime Video only recently on April 16, 2020. Based on Michael Connelly’s bestselling books City of Bones, Echo Park, and The Concrete Blonde, the hit drama series stars Titus Welliver.

Here is what we know about the seventh and final season of Bosch. Happy reading!

Bosch Season 7: Release Date

The makers are working on the script and the locations. Since the pandemic hit, production has stopped mid-way.  Thus, we won’t have the final season on our screens yet.

It is expected that the trailer will be released toward the end of the year. For all we know, Season 7 is likely to air in 2021.

Bosch Season 7: Cast

No official announcements have been made regarding the cast. So, we expect the same characters on the show:

  • Titus Welliver as Harry Bosch
  • Jamie Hector as Jerry Edgar
  • Amy Aquino as Lt. Grace Billets
  • Lance Reddick as Irvin Irving
  • Madison Lintz as Maddie Bosch
  • Troy Evans as Detective Johnson
  • DaJuan Johnson as Rondell Pierce
  • Gregory Scott Cummins as Detective Moore

Bosch: Storyline

Harry Bosch is an L.A.P.D. homicide detective. He has been accused as a serial killer in the murder case of a thirteen-year-old boy. As a result, he is investing the case along with the police to prove his innocence.

The show has completed six of its seasons with near-perfect scores from critics and viewers (on Rotten Tomatoes 96% and 95%, respectively). Each season had ten episodes.

Bosch Season 7: Plot

We have but nothing on the plot of season 7. However, we sure as heaven know that Bosch will keep entertaining us as he pursues justice.

Season 7 is described as follows:

“Drawing from the novels The Concrete Blonde and The Burning Room, the seventh and final season of ‘Bosch’ will have Harry Bosch and Jerry Edgar (Jamie Hector) pursuing two separate but perilous murder investigations that will take them to the highest levels of white-collar crime and the deadly depths of the street-level drug trade.”

In a statement Michael Connelly, the author said, “I’m proud of what we have accomplished with Bosch and look forward to completing the story in season seven,”

“It’s bittersweet, but all good things come to an end, and I am happy that we will be able to go out the way we want to. This started seven years ago with showrunner Eric Overmyer and me writing the pilot. We plan to write the last episode together as well.” “We’ll leave behind the longest-running show so far on Amazon, and it will be there to be discovered by new viewers for as long as people are streaming.”

Bosch Season 7: Trailer

There is no trailer out. Blame it on the corona-virus that there is a little bit of a delay in releasing the final season.

It is surely sad that the series is ending. We have no clue why. But right now, all we want is Season 7.
