Plot: Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8

We have some major news, season 8 scripts scrapped for the first four episodes of season 8, and will be rewritten, and the issue couldn’t be more cardinal. As you might have seen, George Floyd getting murdered, and that created a massive introspection in the TV & film industry when it talks about the behaviors of Police.

Terry Crews, a cast member in an interview with Access Daily revealed that “We’ve had a lot of somber talks about it and deep conversations, and we hope through this we’re going to make something that will be truly groundbreaking this year. We have an opportunity, and we plan to use it in the best way possible. Our showrunner Dan Goor had four episodes all ready to go, and they just threw them in the trash. We have to start over. Right now, we don’t know which direction it’s going to go in.” He did not mention about the content that was already written, but let us see what the writers will write next, and how will the fans and the industry react to it this time.

Not just him, but Dan Goor, the show creator also in an interview with The Hollywood Reported said, “I don’t think anybody wants us to, nor do we want to, have our characters toiling away in the depths of the pandemic, But the question is how they have been affected by the virus and the pandemic as New York City residents and as first responders in New York City.” He continued by saying, “How do we keep the show funny? How do we do that while still making them of this world and of their world? It’s challenging.”

Cast: Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8

There will be no additions or subtractions in the show, and the cast will remain pretty much the same. The cast will include these characters, Andy Samberg as Jake Peralta, Andre Braugher playing as Captain Holt, Joe Lo Truglio starring as colleague Boyle, and Melissa Fumero his wife as Amy Santiago. Other than these stars, we’ll also be seeing inveterate losers Hitchcock and Scully as Dirk Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller and Rosa Diaz as Stephanie Beatriz. No confirmation on guest stars has come out officially for now but we too are looking forward to it.
