Everyone is afraid of monsters and ghosts. Yet, the supernatural world has always held a fascination for the mundane. A world of vampire, werewolves, mummies, and ghosts. Aren’t we all afraid of them?
Well, this animated series demystifies the supernatural, for the children. This story revolves around monsters who have gone into hiding because they think humans are too scary! Well, well, well, how the tables have turned!
In the movie, the monsters have stayed among the humans for centuries together. Humans discriminate against them based on stereotypes. So Dracula sets up a haven for all the monsters away from humans.

Production and Release Date: Hotel Transylvania- Part 4
The animated movie is produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Picture Animations. It was released on 28th September 2012. The second part was under production and released in 2015. The third sequel was released in 2018.
Part 4 is set to release on 6th August 2021. Time cannot possibly move faster for the fans! However, there might be a slight predicted delay in release because of the Corona Virus Pandemic.
Plot: Hotel Transylvania- Part 4
Dracula opens a hotel for all the monsters away from the humans in Transylvania. He lives in that hotel-castle with his daughter Mavis. Dracula lost his wife in a fire attack by the humans. Ever since that attack, he vowed to keep his daughter away from them.
For Mavis’ 118th birthday, Dracula holds a massive week-long party for all the monsters. A human, Johnny, accidentally stumbles into the monster castle and is apprehended by Drac before he gets caught by the others. Over a series of unfortunate events, Johnny gets stuck in the castle and falls in love with Mavis in the process.
In the end, it is revealed that Johnny is a human and is shunned from the castle which leaves Mavis heart-broken. For his daughter, the Dracula braves the son and finally reunites the young lovers.
Johnny and Mavis get married. Humans and monsters unify as one community, though they do have their differences. Mavis gets pregnant and gives birth to a baby boy. Dracula desperately wishes for the child to be a vampire. However, the boy shows no such signs.
Dracula takes him on a dangerous journey to invoke his vampirism which makes Mavis very angry. There is an encounter with Vladimir, Dracula’s father. This forces the child to trigger his vampirism and the story ends with a happy family.
Dracula makes many enemies over the centuries. Especially the Helsing family. In the present day, Mavis decides to take the entire group on a vacation. The captain of the ship dazzles Dracula and he falls in love with her. Mavis suspects her of foul play and is finally proven correct. The captain ends up being a Helsing descendant. However, seeing Drac’s good heart, she reflects bach his feelings. Together they defeat the Kraken and the family expands.
The official storyline has not been released yet. But it will most likely feature the group going on another mind-blowing adventure. We might see more Dennis’s relationship with Winnie. Additionally, Dracula’s romance with captain Helsing could also be focused on.

There has been no official change to the cast list. Although we might see some new celebrities join the voice cast for the upcoming sequel! Knowing which actor is joining the cast might give us some clue as to how the storyline will proceed. But it is a long way to go till the movie release, so I guess we need to hold onto our seats and wait for it!
Hotel Transylvania is a family entertainer. You can watch it across all age groups and they will find it just as funny. The actors modulate the character to achieve perfect comedic timing. It is definitely worth a watch. Like Dracula might say “Bleh Bleh Bleh”, go binge-watch the trilogy now!
