Love is Blind (we are talking about the Netflix reality TV Show) is a series that can literally change lives. Certain shows call for putting your hearts on a sleeve, and this is exactly the kind of show. After a string of lovers got hitched in the first season, Netflix announced the renewal of the second season in NYC.
Here is everything we know about the swoon-worthy reality show.
Corona-virus has let even love down. The production of the show has been postponed. So, we won’t see another couple fall in love until next year.
Netflix’s Love Is Blind aired in February 2020. Now, the series has been renewed for a second and third season. Creator Chris Coelen said, in an interview with OprahMag.com, “I want to see a season 2 or a season 12. Don’t you?”
On March 24, Netflix announced the news of renewal on twitter:
The cast of the first season was from Atlanta. Coelen confirmed that the pods are still there, which could mean that the same experiment can be repeated again in the future with a different set of people, of course.
Kinetic Castings, who had brought the cast together in the previous season, invited all the’ single and ready to mingle’ persons to sign up. They wrote, ‘Calling all singles in the Big Apple to apply for Love Is Blind!’
All the couples, Barnett and Amber, Jessica and Marc, and Lauren and Cameron became quite many influencers when within a few days, they hit 1,00,000 followers on Instagram.
Producers are seemingly open to older people, divorcees, single parents alike. Viewers held the opinion that the final contestants were all conventionally attractive. To break the stereotypes surrounding love, Coelen wants to bring all the factors into play, age being one of them.
“The age demographic that was in the first season—mid-20s to mid-30s—there was no magic to that,” he said, “The whole point of the show is to determine whether any of the surface factors matter…and age is one of those surface factors, so we’d certainly be open to older.”
Fans can’t wait to see what is coming up for them in the new season.
We have no trailer as of now. But, you know where you will get to know about it first. Here! You know you gotta be patient when it comes to love.
