The Boys Season 2: Plot
The Boys is based in a universe where individuals with superpowers gain recognition as heroes by the public. They are owned by a powerful corporation Vought International. This corporation monetizes heroes.
In season one we saw, Translucent played by Alex Hassel die due to a bomb explosion. According to fans theories, the death of Translucent is nothing compared to what’s about to come in season 2. The finale, left a lot of things undiscovered, on the edge for season 2. The entire first season, we saw Butcher seeking revenge from Homelander. He kept on believing that Homelander had raped his wife and driven her to commit suicide.
But in the finale, we learned that Becca was alive the entire time, and secretly was raising their son. The situations and consequences, following this undoubtedly gather some focus of season 2. This event may throw Butcher’s life into a mess all the more than before. The series deviated from the comics, giving fans expectations of a more unbelievable plot in the upcoming seasons.
Another focus of season 2 is in the form of a new villain, Stormfront. It is set to be played by Aya Cash. A new addition to the cast of the series. She will be the replacement of Translucent as the member of the seven in the next season.
