“Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It” be the end of conjuring series? Why has “James Wan” backed off? Know about release date,cast and plot.

Gear up for some horror this September, as The Conjuring arrives right into your home in this lockdown! Yes, you heard it right. Conjuring franchise is back with its another movie which is the 8th installment of the franchise and the 3rd installment of the parent movie.

It has been about four years since the release of James Wan’s The conjuring 2 and while the series’ franchise has been very active in the time since, with releases including The Nun, two Annabelle titles and The curse of La Llorona, our expectations has been building and building for the movie’s direct follow-up. The long wait will be over soon, thanks to the upcoming release of The Conjuring 3 a.k.a. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

Conjuring world has had two enormous successes. With “The Curse of La Llorona” and “Annabelle Comes Home”. And today, Ed and Lorraine Warren are teaming up to bring more paranormal actions.

Storyline: “Conjuring 3”

The movie is dependent upon the Trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, a homicide in 1981 in Connecticut.

The previous conjuring director James Wan himself confirmed the arrival of the 3rd sequel in the year 2018 and had given a glimpse of the plot, the audience expected the movie to start shooting by 2019 and be released by 2020. Warner Bros. confirmed the release dates of the movie as September 11, 2020. Although James Wan won’t helm the director role, he will co-produce and work along with the writers. As per the prevailing pandemic Condition of COVID-19 we might expect a delay. There has been no new official announcement on it yet.


Plot: “Conjuring 3”

Conjuring 3: “The Devil Made Me Do It’ reveals a chilling story of horror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga). One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in US history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defence. And hence, the forthcoming plot brings justice to its title.

The plot hasn’t been revealed as yet, but we know that it is based on another one of the stories of Ed and Lorriane wherein a person defending himself using evil possession as a reason or excuse for being innocent of murder.


But will The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It contribute to that aspect of the franchise? Is it possible that the demon delivering orders to Arne Cheyenne Johnson will be one that the Warrens have encountered before? Could a key witness wind up being revealed as a character from one of the Annabelle or of The Nun movies? The film could wind up just aiming to tell its own story. Only the time will tell.
