“Carnival Row Season 2”: Will “Orlando Bloom” and “Cara Delevingne” return in the upcoming season? Click to know!

Carnival Row is an Amazon Prime original series that became a huge hit among fans of all ages. The series is back with another season. It is a neo-noir fantasy-based series. Furthermore, it is said that the series is based on the script of a film. Moreover, it has been written by Travis Beacham.

Season 1 of the series made a debut on August 30, 2019, on Amazon Prime Video. And consists of a total of 8 episodes, with a running time of 50-67 minutes. The creators of the series are René Echevarria and Travis Beacham.

Carnival Row Season 2: Release Date

The series was officially renewed for season 2. Back in July 2019, Amazon had confirmed that the series would be back for another season. In November 2019, it was reported that production had commenced. But soon after in March 2020, it was halted. This was done because of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Later on, reports made a way that preparation was underway for resumption.

According to sources, the second season of the series was set to grace screens, later in 2020. But the outbreak of Covid-19 had spoiled all plans of release. Furthermore, the shooting was being done in Prague, and since the city is on lockdown, shooting was halted.

Cara, the lead actress, had mentioned that for the shoot to resume, it was required to be cold and snowy. Therefore, it is still unclear, when the shooting can be completed. If everything goes, according to plan, the show might premiere, by mid-2021.

Carnival Row Season 2: Cast

There have been no official announcements regarding the cast of season 2. But we’re hoping that the previous cast will be reprising their roles.

Carnival Row Season 2: Plot

In season one of the series, we saw the investigations of Darkasher killings by Philo. Along with it, he found out that he was a fae. Moreover, he found connections to the people who were involved in the killings. The storyline made quite a few openings for season 2. Philo also joined the dots and found out that the chancellor was his father. He is torn between two worlds: Half-human and half-fae.

Season 2 may focus on Philo joining Vignette. And this might be the reason for giving up his badge. Furthermore, it may involve fae’s fight which will be about liberation. It is likely, that it will be against the alliance formed between Jonah Breakspear and Sophie Longerbane.

Carnival Row Season 2: Storyline

The premise of Carnival Row involves mythical creatures. These mythical creatures are said to have fled their homeland which was in ruins because of a war. In addition to this, as they come together in the city tensions arise between humans and said creatures. In the middle of the series, there are investigations of unsolved murder mysteries.

The series depicts the craze for power, unrequited love, and social adaptations. While these elements eat away the peace from people’s lives.
