Overlord is a Japanese anime adaptation based on the novel series written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by So-bin. The producer of the anime is Madhouse, and Naoyuki Itou is the director. With all of the cool animation, the anime captures the heart of fans all over the world. The creators created the anime again as a whole series as a surprise for fans. It turned out so good that it topped the Netflix charts!
Until now, we have three seasons of the anime, but soon it is going to be four! There are chances we might be able to watch “Overlord 4”.
Release Date: “Overlord Season 4”
We are expecting the fourth season to release by the end of December 2020 or in early 2021. Yet the producers of the anime haven’t confirmed anything. The scriptwriter of the anime show has already hinted towards the possibility of the discharge of the fourth season. That’s why we know for sure that the Overlord series can’t be concluded without the fourth season.
You must know that the makers have not yet disclosed the official release date of Overlord Season 4. So, we can conclude that the future of the anime show looks a bit dark.
The global pandemic of COVID-19 has slowed down the production due to which the “Overlord Season 4” is at stake too. The makers are unable to provide a fixed discharge date of the fourth season. Not only Overlord, but most of the series is facing the same problem. We’re hoping for the situation to get better early so that we all can go back to our healthy lives.
What can we say about the future of Overlord?
The diehard fans of the show know that every season of Overlord consisted of three light novels. It means a total of 9 light novels have been used as the source material for the anime show. The author himself, Kugane Maruyama, has officially declared that the 17th light novel will be the final entry in Overlord light novel series. So, we can expect to see the storyline of the tenth novel in the upcoming fourth season. However, he also stated that he was willing to write more entries in the light novel series if its popularity remains intact and fans demand more additional installments.
It means that not only Season 4, but we can also expect the fifth season to be released in the near future as well.
Cast: “Overlord Season 4”
In this season of the anime, we’re expecting many entries of the new characters. We’re are sure that the king will come back with all his new troops, which will make us sit on the verge of our seats while watching the anime! The old voice actors are undoubtedly coming back. Felecia Angelle and Sumire Uesaka will voice cast for “Shalltear Bloodfallen.” Megan Shipman and Yumi Uchiyama for “MareBello Fiora,” Jeff Johnson, and Masayuki Kato for “Demiurge.” Elizabeth Maxwell and Yumi Hara will do it for “Albedo” and Chris Guerrero for “Ainz Ooal Gown.”
Plot: “Overlord Season 4”
This season the plot will be revolving around the capability if Aniz. He will try to prove himself as worthy and capable. For showing himself hell fight every problem coming his way. He’ll stand ahead of every issue while governing the Sorcerer Kingdom.
Aniz is trap inside a video game. After trying to come out of it, he realizes that he can build his empire there. He starts planning to become a king there. He wants to perform his duties as a king and make the most influential empire there. Fighting and defeating Gazef Stronoff, he realizes that is more strong then he thought. So, it’s going to be pretty impressive, isn’t it? Many of you must be pondering about what kind of king Aniz will become. Evil or Kind-hearted? Well, we will only get to know that after watching the series! So stay tuned!

Storyline: “Overlord Season”
The story starts when a boy accidentally enters a video game and gets trapped there. After any attempt to get out of there, he finds out a way to go offline. He’s still stuck in the game, but he can come out of it too after going offline. He is living two lives. As a result, he’s trying to survive in both worlds, but he can get more power in the game world. So he started planning to build his empire by winning the game with his skills. Becoming greedy, he wants to be a king there as he thinks he has nothing to lose.
