Alexa and Katie is a tv series created by Heather Wordham for Netflix. The sitcom show follows Alexa, a freshman of high school who learns that she has cancer and her best friend, Katie. Together both of them deal with the troubles of school life. The series debuted in March 2018. Till now, three seasons featuring 39 episodes have been released. The series has received critical acclaim for sensitively handling a complex subject. The teen drama was also nominated for Primetime Emmy Award.
