Altered Carbon Season 2 was officially announced. They started shooting in early February 2019.
The Season 2 trailer was out on Feb 11, 2020. It has received 1,146,168 views and 34K likes so far.
After watching this trailer, we came to know that Anthony Mackie is playing Takeshi Kovacs. We will no longer see the version of Kovacs played by Joel Kinnaman (Season 1).

The new characters are Mackie, Lela Loren (Power), Simone Missick (All Rise), James Saito (The Terror), and Dina Shihabi (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan). Renee Elise Goldsberry plays the role of Quell.
