“The promised Neverland Season 2” is a Japanese manga-based series filled with thrill, dark fantasy, and science fiction. The series is written by Kaiu Shirai. It was illustrated by Posuka Demizu. The series was published by Shueisha.

The anime series debuted in January 2019 with twelve episodes.  It was one of the best anime series of 2019, said by Shueisha. The first season of the series was a hit, and so it was renewed for its second season right after the first season ended.

Plot Of The “The Promised Neverland Season 2″

The plot of the series is set in the year 2045, where a group of children is living in an orphanage named “Grace Field.” Emma, an 11-year-old girl, living happily with other orphans and her best friend, Ray, and Norman.

After an incident where they found an orphan named Conny dead at the gate, which connects the “Grace Field” to another world, the incident reveals that the children living in that orphanage are supposed to be food for the demons living in another world.

The story unfolds when Emma, Norman, and Ray plans to find a way to escape the orphanage with all the other children. In season 2, we will find more demons outside the orphanage.

Release Date Of The “The Promised Neverland Season 2″

Season 2 was originally scheduled to release in October 2020. However, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, season 2 of the series was postponed. The series has been rescheduled to release in January 2021. The pandemic has affected the production and team very badly. We cannot say anything about the release date of the series until any official announcement.
