Mackenzie Criminal’s replace of basic household sitcom Worzel Gummidge appears to be like set to be one of many highlights of the festive TV calendar – and followers have been given a glimpse at what they’ll count on from the difference.

A brand new trailer reveals two foster youngsters arriving on the fictional Scatterbrook farm and coming throughout the eponymous scarecrow, just for him to come back to life when one of many youngsters by accident leaves their iPhone on the bottom.

Worzel Gummidge, performed by Criminal, may be heard saying: “Speaking to people isn’t allowed, and that’s the best way it’s at all times been.”

“Adapting Barbara Euphan Todd’s books into these two movies has been a pleasure and I’ve fully fallen for her charming, irreverent scarecrow.”
