With Season six being dropped recently on Netflix in the month of January, the creators of the show have confirmed that the ladies will be back again for one last time in Season 7 and the fans can’t contain their excitement. The series is about Grace, a retired cosmetic tycoon and Frankie who is an art teacher and how their lives turn towards a drastic change when their husbands fall in love with each other forcing the four to live together and the challenges they face.
When is Grace and Frankie Season 7 set to release?
As per the reports, there is no such confirmation of the release date. It is expected to go on floors in the month of January 2021 with some part being telecasted in the latter part of the year. The upcoming season is said to have 16 episodes, making it the longest-running on Netflix after Oranger is the New Black. Also, this season will be the longest of all, compared to the other seasons of the show.
Who all will be returning for the season?
Season 7 will be back with the same cast and crew members starring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Sam Waterson, Martin Sheen, Brooklyn Decker, June Diane Raphael, Baron Vaughn, Ethan Embry. The creator of this American comedy series Marta Kauffman in an interview hinted that the characters will be seen in a way like never before. She stated, “In terms of season 7, I can’t say too much, but we’re going to be dealing with Robert, Sol, Grace, and Frankie in a way that we haven’t seen before.”
Grace and Frankie Season 7: The story so far and what will happen next?
At the end of season six after the shark tank debacle and the revelation of 50 thousand dollars hidden in Nick’s Sofa, it was found out that Robert and Sol are temporarily homeless due to an explosion in their toilet followed by flooding, leading them to move in with their former partners. The ending was completely distinct, as compared to the other seasons, which raises queries of Season 7 having a tricky plot.
