Lucifer Renewed for Season 5?

Netflix said to Hollywood Reporter: “We are thrilled that Lucifer fans around the world have embraced this series on Netflix, and we can’t wait to give them the big finish they’ve all been waiting for.”

This tweet confirms that we will get to watch the fifth season, but sadly, it will be the finale of the show. The show issued its season five order on 7 May 2019.

Bittersweet news right? As the series was granted a final order of the season?

But we have some good news for you!

Lucifer Might be Renewed for Season 6 as well

According to Deadline, “Netflix is in talks with Warner Bros. TV to bring “Lucifer” back for a sixth season after renewing it for a fifth and final one last year.”

Netflix’s’ Lucifer could not actually be discontinued after season 5, and viewer analysis shows it’s the correct call. Lucifans are eagerly awaiting an official word on Season 6 particularly after learning that a new contract has been signed by Tom Ellis.

And… Also, Maybe the biggest reveal to date comes from DB Woodside who has promised @netflix & @warnerbros “a super-secret project.”

Sadly, fans will have to keep waiting for more episodes because season five of the show won’t be coming in April, this year, to Netflix.

The COVID-19 pandemic really shook up the film industry. Film productions were delayed, and releases from numerous networks were put on hold indefinitely, including Lucifer from Netflix. Yet we’re not convinced this is why we’re going to wait on Lucifer for at least another month.

According to sources, “It’s possible we will hear some good news closer to or in April as there’s still a good chance Lucifer season 5, part 1, can premiere sometime in May or June, which would be about one year from the premiere of season 4.
