Will we get to see Season 5 of Mr. Robot?
The final (i.e. fourth) season premiered on 6 October 2019 and ended on 22 December 2019.
This was the justification for not renewing the series given by the creator of the show:
Sam Esmail stated, “Since day one, I’ve been creating toward one end — and in breaking the next season of Mr. Robot, I have ruled that conclusion is ultimately here.”
“Everyone on the creative side, including the marvelous people at the USA and UCP, didn’t want to say goodbye, but we finally have too much admiration for Elliot’s journey to continue past its inevitable ending. Therefore, Season 4 will follow as the final chapter of Mr. Robot.”
He explained, “With its different POV and methodology of capturing the contemporary era and its various power struggles, the fourth season seamlessly winds up the narrative, explaining all of our questions.”
