Born on September 12, 1951, Joe Pantoliano is an American film and television character actor. He is also a published author and is involved in the field of mental health. He is the founder of the nonprofit No Kidding, Me Too!, which is dedicated to removing the stigma of mental illness.

He is married to a former model Nancy Sheppard, and now they have four children. He is known well for his roles in Bound, The Matrix (1999), and many more.

Recently it was reported that Joe Pantoliano was rushed to hospital after being hit by the car. His wife Nancy Sheppard told TMZ that, Joe was out for a walk with his family, on Friday evening when he was involved with the car accident.

Sheppard told that Pantoliano, 68, was beaten by a Porsche that had been T-boned by another vehicle. She also told the outlet that after the hit by the car, he collides with a wooden fence which was a few feet away. He did not have to worry about the expenses as he had protection for auto glass damage. According to Joe’s wife, he injured his left leg, his shoulder, and suffered a gash to his head. According to the outlet he was taken to the hospital where he was subjected to a CT scan.

The actor received 10 stitches on the head and he is now at home recovering but still in a pain. Joe’s agent stated that “Yes he was hit by a car. He is home now recovering and is being monitored for a concussion and chest trauma.”

After getting home back Joe share a picture stating that he is at home recovering.

The Wilton Police department stated that the car accident is still under investigation, but till now the details have not been confirmed yet.
