Streets of Rage is a series of side-scrolling video games. It is also known as Bare Knuckle in Japan. In the 1990s, the trilogy of games was developed and published by Sega. The game is developed for the Sega Genesis.

Three game sequels of the series were released between 1991 and 1994. The first part introduces, three young former police officers known as Axel, Blaze, and Adam, and Mr. X, an evil mastermind. In this sequel, the game also features an attack that defeats all non-boss enemies on-screen.
The second part had improved in graphics and also introduced two new characters, Eddie “Skate” Hunter, and Max Thunder.
The game series is released on platforms including Sonic Gems Collection, Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection, Wii’s Virtual Console, and Xbox Live Arcade.

The game has a new feature that is there will be the availability of options for players, either, they want to play online with two players or local multiplayer for up to four players.
