‘The Promised Neverland’ Season 2: Release Date, Characters, Plot, Trailer and All Updates A Fan Must Know

The Promised Neverland is a Japanese manga series based anime. The manga series is written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. The manga was released on August 1, 2016, and the anime series premiered on January 11, 2019. The twelve episodes of the first season were aired in Fuji TV, along with Adult Swim (for the US) and Aniplus Asia. 

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Release Date:

The second season for the anime has been decided, and the studio, CloverWorks, also announced that it would be released in January 2021 instead of October 20, 2020. Even a film is also under planning to be released before the second season release. Initially, when the COVID-19 outbreak had not happened, the film was scheduled to be released in December 2020. But the conditions prevailing now has made it uncertain about the release dates.

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Plot:

The story is set in the year 2045 and is about a young orphan, Emma. She, along with thirty-seven more kids whom she considers as her siblings, lives in the orphanage, Grace Field House. They are cared for by Isabella, their caretaker whom the kids call ‘Mama.’ When one kid gets adopted, Emma followed her to the outside of the orphanage to return her Little Bunny.

But when they step out of the gate of the orphanage, they find her dead and realize that they are just raised to get butchered and sold to demons. Demons refer to the higher species living outside. Therefore, Emma plans on breaking out of the orphanage with her siblings.
