The Society, a mystery teen drama web television series on Netflix is all set to get a Season 2.
The series, created by Christopher Keyser, starred Kathryn Newton, Gideon Adlon, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Sean Berdy, Jacques Colimon, Olivia DeJonge, Alex Fitzalan, Kristine Froseth, Jose Julian, Alexander MacNicoll, Toby Wallace and Rachel Keller in the first season.
The premise in the first season of The Society follows the story of a group of teenagers who learn to run their own community after the rest of the population of their town disappears mysteriously. Their town is surrounded by a dense forest and beyond that, they have no contact with the outside world.
The first season of the series was particularly successful, receiving particularly favorable views from the critics.
Now a second season of The Society is up in the works.

Even though the exact date for the release of The Society is not known yet, it is expected to come out in the second half of 2020 only.

What is supposed to happen in Season 2?
The final scene in season 1 took the viewers back to West Ham, where, the group of teenagers thinks they are but they are, instead, trapped in a parallel universe, which is similar to theirs but not quite. Here, the group of teenagers is shown missing.
Second Season of The Society, is, therefore, expected to shed light on how the teenagers become trapped where they did and if a find a way out, which will be interesting to watch.
