People waited overnight in queue and slept on sofas to for Louis Vuitton menswear designers Ikea range. Louis Vuitton’s men’s wear collection’s chief executive officer is the American fashion designer, entrepreneur, artist, and DJ, Virgil Abloh. Abloh directs all the products labelled Off- White which is a fashion house and was founded in 2013.
On Friday morning, a level of promotion or advertisement was seen for streetwear in London’s and the prices were dropped at a great extent. It was found in Wembley branch of Ikea as Swedish homeware store and the trending hot fashion Virgil Abloh Collaborated. The collaboration was celebrated by offering a big sale to their fans.
The biggest buzz among the buyers was of a wall clock worth £25, which was looking exceptionally wonderful because of its decoration by word printed on it “temporary” and “wet grass”. A carpet worth £199 with “wet grass” and other worth £75 had also craze of its own which resembled an Ikea receipt. Paying for the carpet was like getting an other Ikea receipt with the bill.
Inside the store, a lady customer of age 21 reported that, It’s really very cool, because you really can’t get the same stuff with this amount. She also said, Everyone can easily afford to buy at this price which is usually not possible with the regular Off- White price. Many fans of Abloh who were waiting out of the Wembley said that they really like Off- White and Virgil’s did it.
Many buyers were also buying items so that they can sell it at higher prices using the brand name and to get enough amount of profit. A buyer, Martins, 29 said that he already have a buyer who is willing to pay £700 for a rug which he bought of £200. He added, he is buying the stuffs because of Ikea price and has planned to resell it at a good amount.
Ikea also brought a fashion storm before this in 2017. And to this time, sale at Wembley, Dublin and Croydon stores are available till 3 November for Marerad collection and only for those who have tickets.
