The popular animated horror series Castlevania is soon going to make its comeback with its season 3. Based upon the famous video game of the same name, the series has got a lot of positive response from the audiences. Therefore, after season 2 released in 2018, Netflix announced the renewal of the show for another season.
Though no official release date had been finalized yet, it was Netflix Nordic that tweeted about the season 3 being released on December 3, 2019. But as director Samuel Deats took a dig on the tweet by replying that they are still working on season 3, it was clear that 2019 wasn’t the year when the famous series would get its next installment. Therefore, we are expecting it to release anytime soon this year.
Till date, no trailer for the next season has been released. Therefore, all that the fans can expect as of now is based upon their theories and speculations about the characters and story-line.
Packed with action, horror, and adventure, the series showcases the story of Hunter Trevor Belmont who takes up arms to save the people of Wallachia from the Vampire Count Dracula and his army.
The season 2 of the show maintained continuation with the first season and went on to focus more upon other characters as well, rather than focusing upon Trevor only. Moreover, with action taking a backseat, we saw the so-formed team standing up against the Dracula. Therefore, in Season 3, fans are expecting to see more action of their favourite characters. Further, it is being speculated that the 3rd season is going to be scarier with new monsters and vampires.
Till date, nothing has been cleared regarding the cast of the next season. Therefore, it is expected that the primary cast of the show would be back. This means we would be watching Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont, Graham McTavish as Vlad Tepes and many others back again.
Moreover, it is being claimed that a famous fan character from the game would also make an appearance in season 3. Therefore, let us see what happens in the next season as soon as it releases.
