“ATYPICAL” is a coming-of-age American television series created by Robia Rashid for Netflix. A coming-of-age is a genre of literature, film, and video that focuses on the growth of the protagonist from youth to adulthood. The first season premiered on Netflix on August 11, 2017, consisting of eight episodes and it has been widely accepted ever since.

The Third segment premiered on Netflix on November 1, 2019, after more than a year of gap. Fans have been binge-watching ever since and have been wondering whether this Award-winning Dramedy will return for season 4.
Though Netflix has not made any official announcement regarding the succeeding season, there are high hopes that it will surely return as the director left the story open-threaded with Sam deciding to move out of his house.
What can we expect in the Fourth segment?
The current season ended up with Elsa (Sam’s mother) and Doug reconciling as well as Casey’s first public kiss with girlfriend, Izzie. Sam has finally patched up with his best buddy, Zahid. In the season finale, Casey decided to go to UCLA University to brighten up her career.
In the next season, we can most likely see Casey’s collegiate track dreams at UCLA and the new-made couples working on their flourishing relationships. While Zahid and Sam will be seen staying together and the former continues to navigate his relationship with Paige. As Sam left his home, the breakdown of Elsa is also expected to be seen.

Kier Gilchrist who plays the autistic lead, Sam Gardener will surely return. Jennifer Jason Leigh as his overprotective mother, Elsa, Bridgette Lundy-Paine as Sam’s younger sister, Casey and Michael Rapport as the father Dough will surely return to their shoes.
Among others, those who have high chances of returning are Zahid (played by Nick Dodani), Paige Hardaway (Jenna Boyd) and Izzie (Fivel Stewart).
